2014 is a special and surreal year. We have become soccer world champion and as if that wouldn’t be enough to mark this year as special I also turned 30 years. I know this is not new for you but 2014 is also the year that I am 10 years out of school and that I started my studies exactly 10 years ago. Time is flying. Why I am writing this today? Well this afternoon we are going back to University. My dear flatmate and friend Verena is going to be awarded her Phd. diploma today and for that reason her friends are invited too. I know it is going to be such a special day for her that I already can feel some butterflies in my tummy too. We are grown up now.
