We met with Carolin and Christian at the „Palais Royal“ to start their engagement session. Though I lived in Paris years ago I have never been to this „hidden“ park laying at the inner court of the Palais. It started raining but they perfectly prepared with a little white umbrella to include in their session. We walked around the city to the different sites that we choose in advance to their engagement session and talked about living in Paris, their wedding, being a wedding photographer and just everything. It was so familiar walking and talking with them as if we knew each other for a long time. After leaving the city center at the Trocadero after the last shot at the Eiffel tower we went to their flat. We were all starving and thirsty after walking for hours through the city. Carolin told me that she had the idea in her mind of talking one shot on their little balcony. We arrived at their flat and I saw their cute little balcony overlooking the city of Paris with Sacre Coer in the background. To be honest I shot out of their kitchen window and Conrad had to hold me so I don’t fall out of the low window but this little danger situation was so worth it for their personal picture on their balcony in Paris.
