Last Sunday right after our last wedding of the year we had the pleasure to photograph Samantha and Daniel as our last engagement session of the year. It was freezing cold outside and just one of those gray days that I love so much. Seriously it couldn’t have been more perfect for some moody portraits with rich colors and strong black and white images.

To finish the session we ended with a hot coffee at the coffeehouse by the lake and talked about Daniel’s proposal in Thailand, about Samantha’s Chinese family living in Indonesia and of course about their wedding day next year at a beautiful 1920 house. It was once again one of those super fun afternoons where the time is flying by and at once it is pitch dark outside.
