A girl named Johanna

Every now and then I am stepping out of the wedding box and photograph portraits. Last December right before Christmas I photographed Johanna in my studio. I know her and her family from our local music school where I used to play saxophone in the orchestra. Her beautiful hair and make-up was done by my favourite make-up artist Daniela Plesser. Johanna is a great young girl with great spirit and I just loved having her in front of my camera. She dares to be different and have her own head and style I think that is so brave and mature for a girl of her age. We laughed a lot dancing and changing her outfits. Here are some of my favourite images from her portrait session. I am so excited to see where she is going in the future.
