An intimate destination wedding at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam
When Laura wrote her first email to me she told me she was planning a very intimate wedding in Amsterdam and that she wanted to get married in one of the parks of the city OR in the garden of the Waldorf Astoria. The Hotel has a little chapel in the garden and when I saw it online I told her that if I was here I would definitely pick the Waldorf and that tiny chapel for her wedding to have the most intimate and special experience, without tourists and people taking iphone pictures. Well October has been a very intense month. I even think if I should write a whole October - reflection post for it as I can barely process all the emotions, events and moments from this past month. I love you more than Sundays.
The best days are our Sundays. Snuggling together on the couch, watching netflix, drinking coffee watching the rain dropping on our window and dreaming big big dreams. We write down plans, we reflect the past weddings and we plan our Monday when we are back behind our desk. Those Sundays are rare. And maybe that is why I love them so much. There is no better place in this whole world than our IKEA couch in our small living room that is always to cold during this season of the year, snuggling with you under our blue blanket.
