We came back Sunday night from a wedding where we had to drive all day to it and back home. We were tired but filled with happiness after a beautiful wedding day on a rainy Saturday in Lübeck. We sat next to each other on the couch not saying much, both thinking about all the people we met and the moments that made this day so special. I turned to Conrad and grabbed his head with my two hands. I pushed my forehead against his and he asked „What are you doing?“ I breathed out and said „I am going to stop the time for us just for a moment – you just need to close your eyes and the world will stop turning around us“. We both closed our eyes just feeling each others forehead and I was sure I could feel the little bucking the earth did when it stopped turning around us.
