Today I can finally share one of my favorite weddings of 2015 with you. I have a few favorite weddings but why is this particular wedding one of them?

Let me tell you something about Agnes and Ulf: Agnes and Ulf are two of the kindest people, she is just so positive and smiling all the time and he has the kind of calm and firm like a rock. When you meet them both you might see her speaking, laughing and smiling at you all the time and him just looking at her smiling, knowing what an extraordinary woman Agnes is. It was already pure fun to photograph them both during their engagement session at the lake but their wedding day was even more special – we got a hurricane.

In the region around cologne we don’t have many hurricanes but Agnes and Ulf were lucky enough to get that one hurricane on their wedding day this year. Most brides would be sad and terrified that they wouldn’t be able to do the reception outside but not Agnes: she took the wind as a good sign and enjoyed him blowing her veil and hair around all day long. We laughed so much I cannot remember every laughing this much on a wedding day.
