But… If its real… you’ll feel it.

This morning I stumbled upon a quote from Kid Rock. And though I wouldn’t call Kid Rock a great philosopher his quote just touched my heart so deeply….

If it looks good, you’ll see it. If it sounds good, you’ll hear it. If its marketed right, you’ll buy it. But… If its real… you’ll feel it.

When has the last time been that you did something real? Something that made your heart jump, your eyes smile (because everybody can make a mouth smile), your dreams go wild without a doubt if it was good or bad you had to do it, something that was so you that somebody would just shake their head because it wasn’t for them, wasn’t ordinary, wasn’t for the money, the reputation, the applause, the likes, the loves, the clapping on your shoulder but just because you WANTED to do it from the bottom of your heart. Something that was real and you felt it being real, really you.

WE are so cought up in doing things just because we need to earn money (don’t get me wrong we really need to earn money unless you want to live under a rock), because we love the online attention, we love the likes, we count the comments we want our parents to be proud, our enemies to feel jealous and our friends to be proud to be our friends that we sometimes forget what it is that makes us REALLY us and make us FEEL REAL again.

I challenge you to FEEL REAL. Start something today or do something that doesn’t imply any like or shoulder tapping. Do it to feel excited, nervous and enlightened, that turns your cheeks red and makes you want to stay up late and never want to go to bed, you want it to never end as it truly touches your soul, your heart, your brain and you feel it from within this is the real deal this is REAL.

Excuse my little rhymes over here that just happened in the euphoria of writing this. I guess it felt just real to write…
