2014 – A year in a review part 2
So after the first part of our review of 2014 here is my experience list of 2014.
Where 2012 was the year of saying good bye and making new friends, 2013 was the year of arriving home and traveling at the same time. 2014 was the year of finding new roots and starting to dream big.
So here it goes again my top-10 2014
So here is my top 10 experience list of 2014
Most challenging & Most exciting thing I did in 2014
Well my bucket before 30 list was a great challenge and speaking as a translator for one week in front of many photographers during the Keepsakes tour 2014 was definitely exciting and challenging at the same time.
Biggest inspiration in 2014
There are different inspiration sources this year:
Peter Lindbergh – 100 photos de Peter Lindbergh pour la liberté de la presse
Vanity Fair – I still have my subscription and soak up the inspiration each month!
Marie Forleo – This has nothing to do with photography but I just love her blog and her videos. I really get inspired by her.
Best book I read in 2014
Jojo Moyes – Eine Handvoll Worte
Sophia Amoruso – #GIRLBOSS
Most emotional moment in 2014
Celebrating Conrad’s birthday together with my brother and my sister in law under the Eiffel tower – priceless!
New technology in 2014
My Kindle Paperwhite !!!! I have it since Christmas and cannot put it down because it is so convenient to read on it. And having access to every book in the world any time of the day through whispernet sounds still unbelievable to me.
Biggest laugh in 2014
My niece when she tries to explain me why she doesn’t need to go to bed when she has to as if she is an old diva.
I am grateful for
Family, friends, wonderful clients, being able to live the life we live and working with my love. I am for grateful for the same things as in 2013 so it is time to add a new one.

Resolutions for 2015 besides living healthy, loosing weight and stop smoking (wait I don’t smoke…)
My resolutions all come down to one word for 2015: authenticity. I think it is the most important word that describes our style of photography and I want to take this word for 2015 for every step of my life and business.
