The Gallery Series
I got the idea of this series because of our instagram account. On instagram we share a lot more previews and pictures that are special to us. You will find there images that will find their way into our portfolio.  But in the gallery with portfolio images on our website you wont spend a lot of time looking at one image. They switch every other second to the next image and that is the intention of the portfolio: showing you the heart of our work, a series of images that we love most. Here on the blog you will find some previews (our series Monday previews for example) or a complete series of weddings. What I love about instagram is that one single image will get a lot of attention a little bit like an image in an art gallery or in an exposition. It can be seen as a single image and tells it own story whereas in a whole blogpost you will see it as part of series of images telling the story of a whole day or whole shoot. This is how I got the idea of the „Gallery Series“. Just imagine walking into a big white room with huge ceilings and a perfect light concept. Soft music is playing in the background and you will get carried away by the images you will see.  Your eyes will just see this one image and it tells it own story for you.
Welcome to our gallery, welcome to the first image of our „Gallery Series“.
This is a true stolen moment during the ceremony of MC and Thomas. Their wedding was in December 2012 in Belgium and what I love most about this image is the love and intimacy of this little gesture of MC kissing Thomas hand. It shows the great connection they have with each other. They are two wonderful honest people and this true moment between the two captured in this image is of course one of my favorites and in our portfolio gallery.
